What means does AyoWorld give me to purchase applications??

 AyoWorld offers the following methods of payment:

1. Credit Card - Visa and Master Card

2. PayPal 

3. Prepaid Top Up balance - Account may be recharged online via credit card or through the purchase of scratch cards.

 

What is Top Up Balance??

 Top Up balance is a prepaid payment mechanism that allows you (the user) to purchase applications without going through the credit card payment each time. You can recharge your Ayo Top Up account balance using one of the following methods:

1. Recharge your account through credit card payment

2. Purchase a scratch card and enter the scratch card number in your account

You may view your Top up account Balance, recharge your account and view your history by going to My Account and clicking on the 'Top Up' icon.

How do I check the version of the BlackBerry OS (Device Software) installed on my handheld??

 Follow these steps to determine which version of the BlackBerry OS is installed on your smartphone: 

1. Open the Options application on your device (sometimes this is within a folder called Settings).

2. Select "About" from the list.. 

3. The Device Software version will be the first set of numbers on the third line. 

In this example, the number shown is v4.5.0.37, which means this device is running version 4.5.

How do I change my email address or password??

Changing your email address and password is easy! Simply go into My Account and modify your email address or password under Personal Info.

Is it necessary to register before I make a purchase??

 Yes, it’s a simple one-time process that leads to numerous advantages, such as quick delivery of downloads, ability to view download history and more.

I purchased an application online however I have not received any download link yet. What can I do??

Can I download an application using Desktop Manager??

 There are multiple ways to install an application on your BlackBerry, one of which is via your desktop PC. The applications on AyoWorld can ONLY BE DOWNLOADED VIA YOUR BLACKBERRY BROWSER. However, for other applications, the following can be used:

  • You will need to download the .zip files for each of your games before proceeding. 
  • Once they are downloaded you will need to extract the game folders to the desktop.  If you are using Windows XP or higher, this is as simple double clicking on the downloaded file, and following the prompts.  Make sure to choose a location to extract to you will remember. 
  • Open the Desktop Manager, and select the Application Loader.

  • Push next until you arrive at Device Application Selection screen.  From here you can select which application you would like to add, or remove.  At first, your recently downloaded applications will not appear in the list as you will need to add them.  You can do this by pushing the Add button.
  • Navigate to the location you extracted the game folders to, and add the .alx file in each game folder to the list.  Once you have made sure all of your downloaded programs are in the list above you can click next. 
  • The next screen would be a summary of all the actions to be performed, if you are satisfied, push next again to begin the installation.
How do I find my BlackBerry PIN??

 Your BlackBerry PIN is a unique number that is tied to a specific device. This number will contain eight (8) characters and be comprised of numbers 0-9 and letters A-F. 

The PIN can be used to locate a purchase if necessary, or to locate a game subscription. More commonly it is used to generate activation codes for games. The PIN is important because it is unique to your device, making your activation code unique to your device. 

    The device PIN can be located by: 

  • Selecting Options from the Home Screen. Then select Status.

  • OR 
  • Compose SMS and type ‘mypin’ without the space followed by a space.
